Beckman Motschenbacher walks back from a home in northwest Wadena with more mail to deliver on his daily route. Motschenbacher said he was greeted with hugs, smiles and warm wishes on his last day working for the United States Post Office in Wadena.

Wadena County Farm Family of the Year Lisa (left) and Ray Cochran have a look at the meat goats Aug. 3 on their farm near Bluegrass. The goats are a small part of the Red Hen Ranch, but they certainly require more attention than the other animals as they seem oblivious to fences.
